YOUR RESOURCE FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY FORM OF THE MASS

For those lodging with the Canons at St. John Cantius Parish during the session, you will be provided a private room. Meals will be provided in common with the members of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius. All of the liturgical books needed for learning the Extraordinary Form will be provided.

We will provide all the liturgical books you need for learning the Extraordinary Form. A bookstore will be set up if you wish to make purchases of additional items.

Liturgical books and vestments for the Ordinary Form are available to offer daily Mass during your visit. Priests are welcome to concelebrate the English Mass during your visit; priests may also choose to offer Mass privately at one of the many altars in St. John Cantius Church. Priests who have mastered the Low Mass and are now studying High Mass may, if they wish, offer the Mass in the Extraordinary Form, celebrating Mass at one of the many altars in St. John Cantius Church. Registrants for the workshop are welcome to join the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius for the hours of the Divine Office celebrated from the Liturgy of the Hours in English. For Vespers and Compline you may borrow one of our Latin chant supplement books to join in singing the Office.
